Alviso Fire Station No.25 | City of San José

Fire Station No. 25 provides fire protection and emergency medical services to the Alviso community in San José. Alviso is located on the very northern edge of San José and is characterized by its small town atmosphere, bayside location, and open spaces. Alviso is situated at the lowest point in the San Francisco Bay area at 13 feet below sea level. The Guadalupe River and Coyote Creek are located within the community.

The Alviso Fire Station opened in 2007 and is a two-story 6,000 square foot fire station that houses one fire engine. DJP&A prepared the environmental review for the project, which focused on biological resources including burrowing owls, noise issues associated with the diesel backup generator and maintenance activities at the fire station, and noise impacts to adjacent residents.
