Intuit Office Project | City of Mountain View
Environmental Impact Report

Intuit is a leading software company best known for its personal and small business products TurboTax, Quicken, and QuickBooks. Like many Silicon Valley tech companies, Intuit sought to accommodate its growing workforce by expanding its campus, which is located in the North Bayshore area of Mountain View.

DJP&A prepared an Environmental Impact Report in 2014 for the project, which proposed to redevelop a 9.62-acre site containing ten existing light-industrial buildings.  The project would construct two high-intensity office buildings of up to four stories each, and would add an additional 231,213 square feet of new office space to the site.  Two parking garages would also be built to substantially reduce surface parking on-site.

The project includes a transportation demand management (TDM) plan to reduce vehicle trips and promote other modes of travel, as well as numerous other sustainability and energy efficiency features.  Notably, the Intuit Office Project is seeking LEED Platinum certification.
