Nora Monette | Principal Project Manager
With over 25 years of experience preparing and managing environmental documents, Nora has a broad spectrum of project experience in all types of development, including residential, commercial/retail, industrial, General Plan updates, transportation, and energy projects. Her attention to detail and penchant for sound technical information makes Nora an ideal fit for complex projects such as the Envision San José 2040 General Plan, for which she co-led the preparation of a Program Environmental Impact Report as Principal Project Manager. Nora has also led the environmental review for the Intuit Office Project, Foothill Live/Work project in Cupertino, and the Main Street Cupertino project, amongst others. Above all, Nora is able to distill technical environmental issues into a form that members of the public can understand.
Nora previously worked at the Toiyabe National Forest where she gained valuable on-the-ground experience as a Range Conservationist. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Soil and Water Sciences from the University of California, Davis and a Master of Science in Soil Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Nora’s interest and hobbies include studying how cities work, throwing pots (pottery), traveling, and enjoying gardens and landscapes.
