Nora Monette | Principal Project Manager
With over 25 years of experience preparing and managing environmental documents, Nora has a broad spectrum of project experience in all types of development, including residential, commercial/retail, industrial, General Plan updates, transportation, and energy projects. Her attention to detail and penchant for sound technical information makes Nora an ideal fit for complex projects such as the Envision San José 2040 General Plan, for which she co-led the preparation of a Program Environmental Impact Report as Principal Project Manager. Nora has also led the environmental review for the 2000 Charleston (Google) Project, the Main Street Cupertino project, Tamien Station TOD project, Equinix Data Center projects, El Camino Medical Park project, and Scotts Valley Middle School project, amongst others.
Nora previously worked at the Toiyabe National Forest and as a private consultant where she gained valuable on-the-ground experience as a Range Conservationist and in on-site soil and water sampling and analysis. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Soil and Water Sciences from the University of California, Davis and a Master of Science in Soil Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Nora’s interests and hobbies include studying how cities work and traveling.
