Pooja is a Project Manager with over five years of experience writing environmental planning documents in compliance with CEQA and NEPA, as well as the Hawai’i Environmental Policy Act. Her diverse project experience includes transportation projects such as the California High Speed Rail and Los Angeles World Airport; utility and infrastructure projects including Last Mile Fiber-to-the-Premises for five Silicon Valley cities, First Net fiber-optic mobile emergency communication systems in the non-contiguous U.S. territories, and Thirty Meter Telescope in Hawaii. She has also completed environmental compliance for solar energy developments and various commercial and retail projects.
Pooja has a Bachelor of Science in Zoology (Honors) and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from highly reputable universities in India (University of Delhi and Panjab University). Pooja also obtained a Master of Science in International Environmental Management and Sustainability from Arizona State University. She was awarded a first prize scholarship from Environmental Professionals of Arizona, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote leadership in environmental management.
In addition to her professional career, Pooja leads an environmental group in India called ‘Saplings’. Spreading environmental awareness through this group is her passion. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, doing yoga, and spending time with her family.
